General distractions continue, although I have been working on a lot of things...almost none of it artwork. This because my faith in my abilities has drastically fallen off, especially where shading/coloring is concerned. I did my first drawn piece in months just yesterday, an entry to the February 2007 MGC topic of "Canon Romance"; I did a picture of Future Tense era Brooklyn...and Ophelia. The title of it is "Moondance"; I would like to shade it but I have no intention of doing so any time soon.
The last few bits of the Gathering 2021 Sealab site are falling into place; I knocked out the banners for the support page this afternoon, all I have left now is to finish the descriptions for the "Big Six" events and do some kind of write up for the location, directions to Sealab, and what there is to do in the area. Oh, and I moved it into a solo folder last month, apart from CP101. Which I also did a little work on last month, a lot of scanning and uploading of old reference material, as well as cleaning up several of the pages.
The Hell Project and the Skiff Project are both...stumbling along, as is TGS. Recent work was done on all three, when both the Hell Project and TGS had been on hiatus for a while in this household. I still don't know if the Hell Project will be ready in time for this year's Gathering, or if I'll have any of my sculptures done to display in the art show. I do know I don't have time to do the costume I had planned for this year, but I might be able to get something together for the masquerade. The Skiff Project...is undergoing some difficulties, but might just be ready on time for its intended March 15 debut.

Been busy with the sorts of projects that preclude updating a website, including moving from the apartment to a house one month ago today. I have actually updated the screencap gallery some since April. Today I am updating the RRFM page to include working links to all four parts of Hungry Shadows, although the fourth link won't work until the story is publically released two days from now.
I started sculpting again last week, and intend to ask for donations to a "I need a digital camera to properly document my art" fund for Christmas. It's nice to get back to it; I am hovering on the start of building up a character sculpture/maquette portfolio.
The "Hell Project" is on hold until I feel comfortable in my ability to draw again, and none of it gets publicized until the whole thing is done- Mara and I are aiming for finishing it by May 2007- so all the time that does get put into it won't be visible on my site or in my devart gallery until it is completed.
Progress on behind-the-scenes stuff at TGS is picking up again, one can only hope that similar momentum will build up with the writing aspect soon. Layouts for a good portion of the Biograph have been set-up, although I need to poke LM about her absentee upgrades to the public site.

Finally have update access back for my site, woot! ...aaand I changed the appearance for this "Updates" page again. Hardly the top of my things to update you on...my screencap ability is active again, and I have my first new cap set up for Female Terrorist Clarice. I updated the Gargie Screencap Heaven front page to reflect this change, along with a updated link to Demona Taina's Imagery Resource (she used my name suggestion, yaye!). I also updated Con Planning 101 a bit - mostly with links to long-promised additional material, like the con room size comparison chart and schedule blanks for a Fri/Sat/Sun convention set-up. I should have scans of the 2001-2005 convention booklets and their schedules up...um...well, sometime soon. When I get around to scanning them. ; P
I also updated my Devart site with a couple new pieces that have not yet been added to the Narcissism Page- A gargified Ellen Stolfa, and my March AMGC entry to the Assassins topic. I'll probably be updated art to Devart before my site, or at the same time, for feedback purposes. ; )
And I finally noticed the Perusal/Persual spelling error on my front page a week ago. I haven't yet cracked it open in Photoshop to fix it, said error not being a very high priority just now.

Updated the website with its new look- along with reorganizing all the behind-the-scenes folders- now that I have it (mostly) in working order. I have a few problems with the rollovers left to tweak, but the links work and I even have the descriptions active.

Well, I'm visiting my family in Maryland for Christmas (I need to get to bed as it's 1:20 in the mornign and I have to be up in five hours to catch a train to New York) and do not presently have access to the internet on this computer...and yet I am writing an update anyway. The lack of a coherent theme in my website has bothered me for a long time, and I am finally doing something about it.
I've a new "Splash" page, a gateway to the Narcissism page, Con Planning 101, and the Gargoyles Screencap Heaven. Narcissism itself is getting a face lift, at least insofar as its own main page (and likely some non-cosmetic changes, as I juggle where things are located behind-the-scenes). I'm not sure when I'll have that updated, as I have to first finish the graphic layout, then figure out how to shade the bloody thing, then slice up the image and remake the link sets- both regular images and rollovers. It's going to be tricky, and I'm worried that if I don't shade the graphic first that I'll have to remake the link sets all over again once I do. Then again, it might be worth it to get the flat-shaded version out first, since the shading will take me a while to work out.

Updated my Links page a bit, mostly to fix webcomic links, and to remove a few others to no-longer-existing places. Still have a large number I need to update, but I'll do it later. Nemesis computer still inactive, but I'm hoping to get that fixed within the next week or so. Have been working primarily on art and on character designs, so the last time I drew was about a month ago, and the updates all went to the TGS secure site and not here, since they aren't finished pieces. If I ever get around to shading them, I'll post them here.

Re-did the front page again, closer to what I want...I really had started to hate that font I was using...still need a new front image. I turn 24 in 8 days, freaky eh? Talked to Knoxville a couple days ago; he's goign to send me what we think I need to get my big box up and running again, which means - yaye! - more screencaps and more videos.
Maybe I should link the music videos?

Tweaked the front pages a bit more; the main page pic I'd like to have posted is still in sketch form, so that's a ways off from completion. Swapped out the gathering 2005 banner and link for a 2006 one. Oh, and I updated a little more on CP 101; Con Chair page is at least coherent now.

Remodeled the whole site yesterday. Well, the look of it anyway; I changed the appearance and layout of the main page, merged the fan-art page with my regular are page, gave the Frontspiece to Con Planning 101 a face-lift and its own banner, and I am currently updating the art in "characters".
The funny thing is, the entire color scheme is based around the pic of Loth I did for Mara...and she's not going to stay the main image. The look is a little more professional, but still a tad sloppy; I'll poke it closer to what I want eventually. I need a decent main image piece, with either myself or maybe Eclipse on it. Or maybe a group piece... hmm... It's all been good practice at the very least.
Main comp is still down, so I still can't do screencaps. Going to see about fixing that a little later this week.
Oh, and I did finally break down and get a DevArt account - http://lynati.deviantart.com/ - but there won't be anything there that you can't find here. Except the ability to leave comments...

So, I moved to San Antonio last October, my previous computer died (I did manage to save about 96% of all my files from it, burned to CD) and I'm- for the moment anyway- now working things off of my shiny new laptop, named Lex, but also known as "Resident Evil: TGS".
My Bearded Dragon Aziraphael also passed on about 2 weeks ago. : (
I've been having some problems updating mysite- software troubles on my side- hence the delay in updates. And until I get the harddrive old OlderComputer up and jogging, the Gargoyles Screencap Project is on hold, since it has the video card I do my capturing through and for obvious reasons I can't put that into my Laptop.
Still have a slew of art that needs to be finished/polished before it can be posted, but I do have one of Panakos and Sheer (x-men continuity) that I did for part of the "Help Draw Support for the Gathering" LJ/Devart thingy. Also the first two parts for a TGS continuity story called "Hungry Shadows" in the "other writing" page.
Probably going to break down and get a Devart Gallery soon myself.

Updated the site a bit last night; linked Con Planning 101on the main page after turning the document into a sub-site itself. More to come on that as it progresses.
Back in the saddle for Gathering Staff, for Vegas 2005. Wish me luck.
Oh, and I apparently forgot to mention here, the "Gargoyles Screencap Heaven" portion of the site, another "sub-site" linked off of my main page. It has its own updates page.

I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute on the 15th with a BFA in Ceramics and a BA in Creative Writing.

Updated the site tonight witha few more images in "gargoyles"; new pics and altered ones in the specs for Aaron's clan. Now included: Famine, Dragomira, Drang, War, Spetznas, and Unruly Julie. Also posted a slightly newer and fuller layout for the fanfic section.
Oh, and the first part of the "FunMiST" should be up under the rants, rambles, etc. section shortly.

What?? Don't look at me like that. I've been busy, working on school and writing. I just haven't had anything to update with recently.
Until now. Version 3.0 of "Convention Planning 101" is up under the Rambles section of "Filks, MiSTs, Rambles, and Rants" , along with a convention-based research project that Chris Rogers asked me to do.
Be nice, and there will be a new fic soon and maybe some naughty art, too.

More art updates, and I reorganized the Gargoyles section some. Added, lets see, two old images of my garg form (the first two, actually), Mara and Me dressed as characters from "Chicago"(a fariyl recent piece), the "doubt" piece formally up on my main page, sketches of Ave's face, a Headshot of Nirvana, apiece of artistic commentary about Avalon Mists, and a belated piece of promotional art for the 2003 Gathering. oh, and that "Damn Head People" chibi-comic wish Eshun.
I also arranged the set-up for the Muses project, so its all nice and ready for whenever I have the actual art for the project ready. As previously mentioned, I also updated the main page with new art.

Updated a shwa-load of new art in the Gargoyles section, including Death and Hyena as Lusiphur and Hyena from Poison Elves, and a character sketch of Tori of Caledonia.
And Mara's "Spider Queen" Drow is up in the Fan section.

New art up gargs, old piece posted in "Fan Art". have a few Gift-to-me piccies I still have to scan. and the "Links" page is up, 'tho not very pretty. I'll re-make the page as frames once I, uh, learn how.

summer - helping to run The Gathering of the Gargoyles 2003 in New York, visiting my east coast family and friends, catching up on Kung Fu and a glass blowing and casting course for college credit at Ox Bow (an art camp/campus in the woods of Michigan).
and now I'm back.
Updated fic page with the first half of Gargs 1-1 ("Contact"), after editing it in Dreamweaver itself (it seems to have solved my earlier coding problems, and I'll be fixing the others shortly).
also have a few new art pieces up in "Gargoyles", and should be updating both my school art and non-fic writing sections as well.
going to post the start to to my collective piece on tips for running a small convention, and the links page.

Finally got around to making "Q" images and posting more of my Junior Semester 1 work, along with a couple pieces from High School and Horizons.

Been a while since I had a chance to update, and anything to update the site with. I should have a few slides up in the "school" section soon, but tonight was additions to my Gargoyle images page, including character shots of new characters (I think they are officially a week old tonight!) Jemaine and Dachau.
oh yeah, and a couple fics are posted on the Stories page, but until some of the other bits get posted, don't expect them to make much sense...

Put up the "filks, Mists, rambles and rants" page, inlcuding links to a pair of filks and a pair of Mists. Havent gone searchign for any of my old rants yet, and don't have any rambled in particualr to post.
Also removed the link to the set-up for my fic page, as the warning that it would be years before any of my fics were ready to be posted wasn't enough to stop someoen from asking where they were.
...then again, "Keys", "Questions Forced", and "Damaged" are finished...at least until I decide I need to add more to them. Hm.

Fiddling with the page properties more. Also updated my "school art" page with my two most-recent sculptures (which I'm entering to this Month's MGC beast gargoyles contest).
The gargoyles section is about as updated as it is going to be until I get around to scanning (and finishing) more of my art.
Oh, and I put in a guestbook last night. or possibly the night before last.
And fixed up the logo at the top of the page. Maybe I should make them for the rest of the pages?

Now have all but a handful of the links to the full images in my School Art section functioning; I managed to complete and post both my gift and fan art galleries last night. I'd do more for the Gargoyles section tonight, but it is 3 am and I have to be up before noon tomorrow to get back to work,and to get the digital camera I'm borrowing from the new media department. I'm going to shoot my two newest sculptures, along with a few pieces from last semester that weren't shot, and perhaps some of my Freshman year art, if i feel like digging it out of the closet. Oh, and I need to re-shoot one of my fave pieces from high school that the slide just sucks on. oh. wait. And the final project from high school as well, I never had an image of that one...

With much thanks to Puck40 for his tech support, my site is finally up! *there is much rejoicing. huzzah.*
So far I have the main page, a page for my school art (only the thumbnails for my work are up at present 'tho), a page for my personal art (mostly gargoyles, mostly unposted)...and this, the Updates section. *tap tap tap*
Things will keep moving smoothley, I hope, and in a few weeks I should have a full framework for my site up and...um, jogging...slowly...in place.....yeeeah.
